    About: “Money Breathes!”

Like many others in life, I grew up not understanding money. Through several years working in IT and with financial systems, I became more interested in how money works.

I trained as a Stockbroker and Financial Adviser with Edward Jones in 2008. The more I understood money, the more I saw that it can have a life of its own if not carefully managed.

8 years later, I moved to providing lifestyle financial planning to UK residents, entrepreneurs and business owners, as well as US citizens resident in the UK.

Other: A creative family man and cyclist. I love playing something on the piano, or hearing my children do the same - far more proficiently than I. Cycling wherever the miles take me, my favourite is spending time with my wife where we love spending time in God’s creation!

About: Having spent 6 years with TSB Bank as a management trainee, I then became an IFA and have never looked back!

Now, over 30 years later, I still advise many clients and their families that I first met in the 1990s. I consider my role to be a huge privilege.

Other: I have two daughters, one of whom, I am delighted to say, has also joined the financial advice profession. These days, I enjoy plenty of walking & running with friends & my energetic dog.

About: I have diplomas from both the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Pensions Management Institute with over 30 years' experience in financial services.

I joined ACFA in 2007 shortly after setting up on my own as a sole trader as I wanted to meet up with fellow Christians in business. I soon went to my first conference and found likeminded people facing the same day to day challenges I faced.  I was excited to find others who were seeking to apply God’s word and wisdom to both their own finances and the advice they were giving clients. I passionately believe that God wants to be Lord of all of our lives including our time, assets and finances.

Other: After setting up in business as The Lost Coin in Wellingborough we moved to the Bristol area in 2009. Our children are all grown up now with just our youngest at home plus 2 Springer Spaniels who keep us active. I sold The Lost Coin Financial Planning Ltd to Cactus in 2024 where I now work as a senior adviser and plan to stay for a good few years yet. After 5 years as Treasurer for our local church we moved on to attend Woodlands Central where I help out with the Mens ministry. I love being outside in nature and frequently visit areas of outstanding natural beauty in our campervan for dog walks and adventures in new places.

About: I joined the ACFA team in 2022 as the new administrator.
However, given the part time nature of the position, I’m also active in several other roles as well. I freelance administration services and home help, but regularly work at a day centre for those living with dementia. Again, my role there is in administration.
